Betty Burua of Papua New Guinea signs on as UAPB newest addition to the women's track team.

UAPB’s Lady Lions continued their reign in the distance events as Theresa Padilla won the women’s 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:51.64 at the SWAC Indoor Track Championship; Ashley Bolden also a Lady Lion came in third.
